Magic link for guest users
When you invite a guest to join one of your Shared projects, they will receive an email containing a unique "magic link". This link facilitates hassle-free access to their client portal, eliminating the need for a separate sign-up process.
Note: Each magic link is personalized and should not be shared with other guest users for security reasons.
Opting for a Manual Sign-in:
Guest users who prefer an additional layer of security can opt for a manual sign-in process. To activate this, they simply need to set a password in their profile, located at the top right corner of their account.
How to Regenerate a Magic Link:
If there's a need to regenerate a magic link for a guest user, it's quite straightforward. Navigate to the project they are part of, go to settings, select 'team members', and click on the 3-dot menu next to their name. From there, select the "Send magic link" option.
Please note, generating a new magic link will invalidate any previous links issued for that user, maintaining the security integrity.
