Leveraging Tags to Organize Your Tasks

Adding the Tags Column: To begin with, open the column explorer in your project board. Here, you will find the option to add a "Tags" column. Select it to add it to your board.

Creating and Adding Tags: Once the column is added, you can click on any cell within the column to create and assign tags to different tasks. This helps in categorizing tasks based on various criteria such as priority, department, or status.

Tag Management: All new tags are assigned a random color by default. After creating a tag, it becomes available for selection in other tasks as well. You can manage these tags, modify their colors, rearrange them, or delete them from the "Housekeeping" tab under "Board Settings".

Tags can be used to categorize your data. They also help you search and filter your tasks based on these categories created using tags.

Working with the tags column is very easy.

Just open the column explorer & find and select the Tags column.



Once added, you can click on any cells to create and add tags against any of your tasks.



By default, all new tags appear in a random color. Once a tag is added, it's also available for selection in any subsequent tasks.

You can manage the list of tags, change their color, order & delete them from under Board Settings/ Housekeeping tab.
