How to Archive or Unarchive Tasks and Sub-Tasks

Sometimes, you might find the need to archive tasks or sub-tasks to declutter your board. Don't worry, it's a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you through it:

Archiving a Task or Sub-Task
You can archive tasks or sub-tasks in two simple ways: through the Actions option or the Bulk update pop-up. Let's delve into both methods:

Method 1: Using the Actions Option
Hover over the 3-dot Actions menu next to your task title.
Select the 'Archive' option that appears.

Archive via Actions

A confirmation message will pop up at the bottom right corner of your board, indicating the task has been archived.

Method 2: Using the Bulk Update Pop-Up
Tick the checkbox next to the task you want to archive.
A Bulk update pop-up will appear at the bottom, presenting an 'Archive' option.
Click on 'Archive'.

Bulk Update Archive

And you're done! You can use the same steps to archive sub-tasks as well.

Unarchiving a Task or Sub-Task
If you change your mind and want to retrieve an archived task or sub-task, here's how you can do it:

Click on the 3-dot menu at the top right corner of your board.
Select 'Board Settings'.

Board Settings

In the flyover that appears, navigate to the 'Archived' sub-tab. Here, you'll find all archived tasks and sub-tasks, along with their respective group names.

Archived Tasks

Tick the checkbox next to the task or sub-task you want to unarchive.
Click on the now enabled 'Unarchive Task' button.
A pop-up will appear with a success message, prompting you to refresh the page to view the unarchived items in their respective groups.
