Using File View

The File View feature in Anywhere allows you to manage and access all project files associated with tasks or items in one place. You can upload files from various sources, including your PC, OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox, directly within the Comment section of a task. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use the File View feature:

Open the Comment Section: Start by clicking on 'Start Conversation' in the Comment section of your task/item.

Attach a File: Within the Comment flyover, click on 'Upload File' and hit the blue arrow next to the 'Upload File' option.

Select File View: A drop-down menu will appear; choose the 'File View' option from the list of Select View Types.

File View Screen: You will be directed to the File View screen, where you can see all your project files.

Add Files: You can also add files directly to the File View by using the 'Upload' option.

Upload File: Click 'Upload' to select a file from your computer to add to the File View.

View Uploaded File: Once uploaded, you'll see a message indicating the successful upload of the file.

Pro Tip: You can upload files of various types, including Word documents, Excel files, PDFs, images (jpg, gif, jpeg), with a maximum size of 200MB.

You can also view file details by switching to different view types, such as 'Large Icons' and 'Details,' available in the top-right corner. These options allow you to sort files by name, size, type, modified date, in ascending or descending order.

Additionally, if you need to find a specific file among many, you can use the search panel located in the top-right corner.

This File View feature makes it easy to manage and access all your project files in one place, streamlining your workflow.
