Creating sub-boards

Creating sub-boards in Anywhere is a useful way to break down larger projects into smaller, more manageable sections. Sub-boards are essentially standalone boards with their own column structure and design, created under an existing parent board. Here are the steps to add a new sub-board:

Prerequisite: Ensure you have a parent board for which you want to create a sub-board.

Select Parent Board: Choose the parent board under which you want to create a sub-board.

Access More Options: Hover over the parent board's name, and you will see three vertical dots (More options). Click on this icon.

Create Sub-Board: In the menu that appears, click on the + icon labeled "Sub Board."

Choose Creation Method: You will be presented with a "Create Board" popup. There are two ways to create a sub-board:

a. Create Blank Board: Choose "Create Blank Board" to start with a blank canvas. Enter all the required details, such as the sub-board name, client name, start/end dates, and a description.

b. Use Predefined Templates: Alternatively, you can use one of the predefined templates available under various categories, such as Project Management, Remote Work, HR, Sales, Marketing, and others.

Note: Sub-boards, by default, inherit the same access type as their parent boards, and you cannot modify this access type.
