Inviting Clients to the board
Collaborating with External Guests in Anywhere
Anywhere allows you to seamlessly collaborate with guests from outside your organization on your projects. To extend invitations to external collaborators, there are two straightforward methods available.
_Important Note:_ External guests can be invited exclusively to Shared boards. You have the flexibility to convert any of your existing boards into Shared boards.
Below, we outline the steps for inviting guests to Shared boards:
**Method 1: Inviting Guests from Project Settings**
You can invite guest users to your projects directly from the project settings. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article.
**Method 2: Inviting Guests from the Administrator/User Management Page**
This option is accessible exclusively to administrators within your Anywhere account. Here's how to proceed:
Navigate to the Administration section and select "Users."
Click on "+Create new user" to initiate the guest invitation process.
Fill in the required details for the guest. Please note that only non-public business email addresses are accepted.
Under the "Roles" tab, deselect "User" and choose "Guest" as the role for the guest user.
Click the "Save" button to confirm the guest invitation.
In this scenario, you will be responsible for manually adding the invited guests to the desired boards.
Each guest will receive an email containing their exclusive and unique magic link. By clicking on this link, they can access their client portal and view the projects to which they've been invited.
_Pro Tip:_ You can utilize the Preview feature in Shared Projects to get a firsthand look at how the Client Portal access works for your guests.
Collaborating with external guests is a breeze in Anywhere, making it easy to work with clients and partners outside your organization. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
We value your feedback and are here to help you make the most of Anywhere's collaborative capabilities.
