Creating Board via Excel Sheet
Importing a CSV/Excel File to Create a New Project Board
With Anywhere, you can seamlessly transform your Excel sheets into project boards. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started:
Initiate Board Creation:
Navigate to the board browser.
Click on the + button.
In the project settings, spot the 3 vertical dots next to the Project Name? Click on them.
Board Details:
Fill in the Board name, description, and board type.
Proceed by clicking the Next button.
Upload Your Excel File:
Choose the Excel file you'd like to convert into a board.
Click Next.
Note: Ensure your file adheres to the guidelines: a maximum of 1000 rows and 10 columns.
Map Excel Columns:
Align your Excel columns with the available column types for the new board.
Click Next.
Tip: You can designate a title by checking the appropriate box next to it. No need to map this column further. If you're aligning any column to a default status or date, it will be set as such. Post-creation, you'll see columns for Assign to, status, and Due date.
Finalize Board Creation:
Review the mapped columns and data. If there's any discrepancy or missing data, you'll receive an alert, and the Create button will be inactive.
Once everything's in order, click Create Board.
Voilà! Your New Board:
Admire your newly created board, all set for your tasks and projects.
