Creating and managing tasks
Creating and Managing Tasks in Anywhere
Tasks are the fundamental units of work in Anywhere. They help you break down projects into actionable items, ensuring that every aspect of your project is accounted for. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to create and manage tasks within your Anywhere projects.
Understanding Task Groups:
Each Anywhere project is organized into groups or sections. These groups can be customized to fit your project's needs:
Customization: Create new groups, rename existing ones, reposition them, change their colors, or delete them as required.
Creating Tasks:
Within each group, you can add multiple tasks. Each task can further have sub-tasks, allowing for a hierarchical organization.
* Quick Add: Click on the blank row at the end of every section, type in your task title, and press Enter.
Using the Top Button: Another way to add tasks is by using the dedicated button at the top of your project board.
Task Management:
Selection: Hover over a task to select it. Once selected, you can perform bulk actions, such as moving or deleting multiple tasks simultaneously.
Task Menu: Hovering over a task also reveals a menu with various options, allowing you to manage the task effectively.
Drag & Drop: Reorder tasks within a group or move them between groups using drag and drop. For automated task movements based on specific criteria, consider using board automation.
Advanced Task Features:
Recurring Tasks: Set tasks to recur at specified intervals with the recurring tasks feature.
Task Reminders: Ensure you never miss a deadline by setting up task reminders.
Assigning Tasks:
Tasks can be assigned to team members using the "Assigned To" column. If your project requires it, you can add additional user columns to assign tasks based on different roles or responsibilities.
With these features, Anywhere ensures that task management is intuitive and efficient, helping teams stay on top of their projects. If you have further questions or need assistance, the support chat is always available to help.
