Troubleshooting Common Problems
This article provides guidance on troubleshooting various issues you may encounter when using Anywhere. Here are the solutions to common problems:
Trouble Logging In:
- If you receive an error message while trying to log in, provide the specific error message for further assistance.
Account Inactive:
- Contact your company's admin if your account appears inactive. They can reactivate your account from the Administration/Users screen.
- For first-time users, if you encounter an "account inactive" or "email not confirmed" message, click the "send activation link" option on the login page to receive a new activation email link. Activate your account using the link.
- If your account is temporarily on hold due to entering the wrong credentials, wait for five minutes and try again.
Screen Distortion or UI Issues:
- Ensure you use "https://" instead of "http://" in the URL to access your account. Manually update the URL to HTTPS if needed.
- Check your DNS record setup. Follow the provided instructions to set up DNS records correctly.
- If you used a custom domain and experience login screen distortion, contact support for reactivation.
Creating a New Project:
- If the "Save and Next" button is disabled when creating a new project, ensure all required fields have valid values, including client details for shared projects.
Assign Users to Workspaces:
- To restrict a user's access to a specific Workspace, invite them to a project within that Workspace. Access control in Anywhere is project-based.
Invalid Email Confirmation Code:
- If you receive an "invalid email confirmation code" error, generate a new link by clicking the "Email Activation" link on the login page and providing your registered email. Use the new verification link to activate your account.
If you continue to face issues or have further questions, don't hesitate to contact Anywhere's support team for assistance. They are available to help you resolve problems and ensure a smooth experience with the platform.
