Empowering Collaborators with User Delegation in Anywhere
Anywhere offers a user delegation feature that allows you to temporarily delegate your account to another user. This feature proves valuable in various scenarios, such as:
When you're away and need to grant access to your account to a colleague.
To facilitate Anywhere's support team in assisting you with your tickets.
_Please Note:_ User delegation is available for selected plans.
Let's dive into how the User Delegation feature works:
Click on the Manage authority delegations option found in your user profile menu.
A User Delegation popup will appear.
Click on the "Delegate new user" button.
This action opens a popup with the following fields:
- Username
- Start Time
- End Time
Click the search button on the right side of the username field.
A list of all users within your organization/company will be displayed. You can choose a user from the list (or use the search box to find a specific user).
Click on the right arrow key on the left side of the popup to add the selected user.
The user is now added to the delegation.
Provide the Start Time and End Time. These fields open a calendar, allowing users to choose the dates and time period for which they want to grant access to the user.
Click on the "Save" button to save your changes.
The delegation has now been successfully added.
The delegated user now has the option to switch to the delegator's account for the specified time period.
