Adding a new user

Adding Users to Your Anywhere Account

Anywhere is a powerful team collaboration tool that truly shines when your team members collaborate seamlessly. This article will walk you through the process of adding new users to your Anywhere account.

Click on "Users" in the "Administration" section of the navigation menu.

In the top right corner, click the "+ Create new user" button.

Create New User

Clicking this button takes you to a page where you can enter the required details.

Fill in all the mandatory information for the new user. Please note that Anywhere only accepts business emails and does not accept public email providers like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.

User Details

You have the option to either set the password yourself or allow the user to set their own password. If you choose to set a random password, the user will receive a temporary password in their welcome email.

It is highly recommended to select the option for the user to change their password on the next login.

To ensure the user receives an activation email with their initial login details, check the "send activation email" option.

By default, set the user to be "Active." Inactive users will not be able to log in to the Anywhere account.

You can decide whether to enable the lockout feature, which locks the user out for a predefined time period if they enter the wrong password three consecutive times. The lockout settings can be adjusted by the Admin under the security settings of Anywhere.

Next, go to the "Roles" tab to determine the user's role. By default, it is set to "User." Only an account admin can access these features.

User Roles

Note: Only account admins can access and use the User Management screen under Administration.

This article should help you add new users to your Anywhere account with ease. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll respond to your message promptly.
